Small Wins

The studio was overrun by clutter. Different moments yielded different thoughts:

How can this happen so often?!

What am I doing wrong?

This is too big. I can’t handle it.

Maybe the disorganization is a sign of prolific creation.

I can break down organizing the whole space into small tasks to dismantle the chaos.

So far, I’ve cleared and organized the right side of a supply closet. It has brought me joy. I pop in often to bask in the glory of its tidiness. I can ignore the disheveled areas while I work, and take a moment every now and then to look at the closet for a mood boost.

I want  to remember to celebrate small (mental and physical) wins like this on this long  journey.
